Councilor Joe Andrews with Frostbite
After dropping the very first ceremonial puck Councilor Joe Andrews of Orangeville poses with Frostbite during the first intermission in the Orangeville Blitz Home Opener Infront of nearly 250 fans.
Roger TV and FM 101 were in the BALLROOM Saturday night recording live and broadcasting live throughout Orangeville while Taphouse Craft Beer & Kitchen hosted, BBQ'd and served an awesome tailgate kickoff party while offering full service & fully licensed event.
The boys played hard and are starting to come together and continue to grow as a brand new team. There are great things to come for both the Blitz and the super supportive town of Orangeville.
A special thank you to Sharon Doherty-Gaudin (Facility Manager) for all she has done for me and your Orangeville Blitz Hockey Club. We already feel at home.
Thank you to all staff, volunteers and Rinkies at the BALLROOM for an outstanding first night in the great town of Orangeville.
See you for home game # 2 this Saturday Oct. 21st while we host the Alvinston Killer Bees. Taphouse Blueline Club opens at 7:30 pm during warmups and the puck drops at 8:00pm.
